“Maskne is a recognized subtype of acne mechanica, and mask rosacea is a potential new entity triggered by mask‐wearing during the pandemic. Maskne should be diagnosed in case of de novo acne occurred 6 weeks after a regular mask wear or worsen of pre‐existen acne in mask covered by areas after regular mask wearing. Since mask wearing worldwide is maintained due to COVID‐19 pandemics, we expect an increase in the prevalence of maskne and mask rosacea’ based on COVID‐19 related masks increase severity of both acne (maskne) and rosacea (mask rosacea)
