TeleDermatology uses advance technology to expedite the process of providing skincare to patients. No referral is needed. There is no need for you to take time off from work, or wait for a long period of time (sometimes months) to see a dermatologist or spend significant money on over the counter skincare products. In less than a few hours, you can receive a diagnosis and then pick up your medications from your pharmacy.
How does RemoteDerm (TeleDermatology) work?
It is very simple. 1. You create an account -> 2. answer some questions about your skin disease -> 3. upload good quality pictures of your skin concern -> 4. make a payment for the consultation -> 5. a Canadian board-certified dermatologist evaluates your concern and make a diagnosis and then fax your prescription to the pharmacy. You can also ask an additional question from the dermatologist.

Can RemoteDerm provide a referral for me to see a local dermatologist?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to provide a referral. If RemoteDerm dermatologist recognizes that you need to see a local dermatologist (for a biopsy or …), then he or she will state in the consultation that you should be seen in the office. You can print the consultation and ask your family doctor to attach it to the referral that they will send to the local dermatologist. This can significantly assist the local dermatologist with the triage process.
