Relax because we always will be here for you.
TeleDermatology uses advance technology to expedite the process of providing skincare to patients. No referral is needed. There is no need for you to take time off from work, or wait for a long period of time (sometimes months) to see a dermatologist or spend significant money on over the counter skincare products. In less than a few hours, you can receive a diagnosis and then pick up your medications from your pharmacy.
It is very simple. 1. You create an account -> 2. answer some questions about your skin disease -> 3. upload good quality pictures of your skin concern -> 4. make a payment for the consultation -> 5. a Canadian board-certified dermatologist evaluates your concern and make a diagnosis and then fax your prescription to the pharmacy. You can also ask an additional question from the dermatologist.
Dermatologists who obtained their board certifications in Canada are providing teledermatology consultation on RemoteDerm.
Yes, absolutely. You are able to provide the fax number of your desired pharmacy. The dermatologist will fax the medication to the pharmacy for you.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to provide a referral. If RemoteDerm dermatologist recognizes that you need to see a local dermatologist (for a biopsy or …), then he or she will state in the consultation that you should be seen in the office. You can print the consultation and ask your family doctor to attach it to the referral that they will send to the local dermatologist. This can significantly assist the local dermatologist with the triage process.
Board Certified Dermatologist in Canada is able to treat skin conditions of all age patients, infants, children, teenagers and adults. However, if you are younger than 18 years of age, your parents need to submit the case for you.
Depending on the package that you have purchased. Our board-certified dermatologist in Canada strives hard to answer your questions within the 12 hrs. or 48 hrs. time frame. You mostly get your answer much sooner, in fact mostly only in few hours. However, sometimes they may have to address emergencies and take a bit longer to get back to you. While they strive hard to be on time, there would be no refund if they are not able to answer on time or just slightly delayed. If you believe you deserve to receive a refund, please contact info@remotederm.ca and we will review your case.
If you believe you have a medical emergency, you should not use RemoteDerm. You should contact 911 right away or go to the nearest emergency department. The RemoteDerm Canadian Board Certified Dermatologists can treat all skin disorders. However, Teledermatology has its own limitations. There are skin conditions that need to be biopsied to be able to make an accurate diagnosis in which your family doctor needs to refer you to a local dermatologist for the biopsy.
